This is heaven for anyone interested in antique roses. The number of different varieties available is tremendous. The really great thing about this nursery is that they have planted lots of the roses they sell. That means you can see them in the size they will eventually get in your garden. That is very important with old garden roses, because they are sometimes very large. Do not pass up a chance to visit this wonderful nursery.

This nursery, located in the historic Heights area, specializes in native plants. And when you are talking "native roses" old garden roses come to mind. Buchanan's has a very good selection of old garden roses.

This nursery, located on the far north side of Houston, is gigantic. They have a good selection of hybrid tea roses, miniatures and old garden roses. Worth the trip.

This is a great place to buy roses. They specialize in hybrid tea and floribunda roses. They usually hand out their rose list at Houston Rose Society meetings at the beginning of each year. Year after year, the roses I have purchased from Robertson's do great. Tons of roses in my garden are from this nursery, and they get my highest marks. It is definitely worth the drive to get roses from this outstanding nursery. Give them a try.

This nursery has it all. Their rose selection is gigantic. Their free rose catalogue alone is worth the trip. Also, Teas has a nice web site which lists every rose they carry and discusses their recommendations for such things as best climbers, most fragrant roses, best roses for cutting, best roses for color, etc.
